Hobbies? Ideas? Jewelry, bag-making?

I want something to do at night apart from playing the Wii or go on the computer Portable. Thought to make jewelry, but have no idea where to start, what I need and where to look. Ideas? Or people would say anything, I used to sew and cross-point, but want a chage. I have 31 years of age.

Probably would enjoy Craftster.org much advice. They go to the sewing areas (including the manufacture of bags, clothing, recreation, stuffed things, etc), felt, paper crafts, quilting, weaving, jewelry (pearls general, clay, etc), gardening, the kitchen, make your own soap and cosmetics, and many more. Each board the train in a particular issue is devoted to projects and tutorials that show or to ask questions and discuss topics on how to do different techniques.
